I really like this model you've made a great job of the construction, the tracks and running gear in particular are very good. The paint work is a good colour and has been well applied and could be further improved with some more highlighting and shading to break up the single colour paint scheme. A darker pin wash would also help add some depth to the finish. I like the rust streaks and the head light is very realistic. The base although not judged is of a very high standard and adds some life. Overall this is a very nice model, excellent job.

This is another interesting subject that one does not often see completed models of. I can see no issues with the build and the bit of scratch building that you’ve done and the fine PE details definitely helps to enhance the overall presentation. The painting and weathering are nicely accomplished with some well applied staining at appropriate locations, though some more chipping on the front of the vehicle around the fenders and radiator grill wouldn’t be out of place either. A little darker wash just in the area of the radiator and side grills would help accentuate the grills/louvers and make them look a little less “solid”. Given the deep ruts portrayed in your base, some more dirt/mud on the tires would probably be appropriate as well. The open door and tailgate are very nice and help bring life to the vehicle. The open engine compartment also adds more interest, though I think there was opportunity missed here to really show this area off with some grimier washes and staining on its interior to make it look a little more “used”. The wire harnesses in this area also look a bit odd as they run every which way, appearing to defy gravity in some cases. Finally stowage can be a double edged sword. It can really enhance a model or it can detract from the overall appearance. A bit more time in weathering it as carefully and subtly as you’ve accomplished on the rest of the model will help ensure that it is complimentary. Overall this is a nicely done vehicle. Wayne

What looks to be a very nicely detailed build is not particularly well demonstrated by the 'in progress' picure provided, indeed the pictures as a whole are rather uniformative. Paintwork looks well done and appropriate if somewhat bland. The little detail painting that is clearly visible looks quite well done. The rolled tarps are a bit dubious, with shading that is overly strong in my opinion. Weathering, while quite light, is well done and serves to brighten up the plain paintwork beneath. The accumulated dust on the running gear looks quite realistic, but the engine bay seems a little too clean for a vehicle in service.
